Your existing BMS sequences of operations remain completely unchanged, no hardware is added, and normal building operations continue without interruption.

Seamless BACnet Integration

We connect directly via BACnet to your networked lighting controls and VAV terminal units, ensuring no interference with existing sequences of operations while preserving full ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues or address hot/cold office complaints using standard BMS tools.

Easy Install and Commissioning

Deploys quickly on an on-premise server connected to your existing BACnet network. Commissioning involves mapping occupancy zones to VAV terminals with no custom programming and without altering BMS programming or building operations.

KenergyAI On/Off Button Facility

Staff can override KenergyAI for individual zones, disable the entire system, or return full control to normal BMS logic at any time using the existing BMS front end or a dedicated BACnet point.

On Premise

Runs entirely on a dedicated on-premise server or virtual machine placed in the same network as your existing BMS, with no cloud connection or internet access required. This architecture ensures maximum data security and compliance with strict privacy or cybersecurity policies common in universities, government facilities, and large commercial properties.

Zero Changes to the BMS

Requires no changes to your current sequences of operations or facility procedures. The system can be completely disabled with a single command or physical switch, returning the building to its original state.

Runs Autonomously

Operates fully autonomously in the background once commissioned, continuously optimizing HVAC based on real-time occupancy data without requiring monitoring, manual adjustments, or oversight from facility staff.

Proactive Fault Detection & Alerts

Continuously monitors VAV damper response, zone temperature deviation, airflow rates, and occupancy sensor health. Generates real-time BACnet notifications and email/SMS alerts for mechanical issues before they impact occupant comfort.

  • BACnet with access to the VLAN for the building controls that includes the lighting occupancy sensors as well as the HVAC equipment such as VAVs.
  • Direct connection to major BMS platforms (Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls Metasys, Honeywell EBI, Tridium Niagara). No gateways required for modern BACnet systems; optional JACE/equivalent for legacy setups.
  • Ingests real-time data from networked lighting controls (NLCs) via BACnet, cloud APIs, or MQTT; supports Enlighted, nLight, Wattstopper, and other networked lighting controls and standalone networked occupancy sensors such as those from EnOcean.
  • Fully on-premise/air-gapped deployment option (no cloud/internet required), ensuring data privacy and cybersecurity compliance.
